FP SPORTS opened the Spring sports season in a familiar place - East Longmeadow.
On Tuesday, I watched the Spartans ⚾️ team host the Falcons from Minnechaug Regional HS.
The game was scoreless until the 3rd inning. The opposing pitchers, East Longmeadow’s Samuel Feliciano and Minnechaug’s Alex Garete, were both throwing good games.
Minnechaug broke the scoring cap in the 3rd. Luke Dunklee scored a run.
Feliciano started to give up some hits. The Falcons scored 5 runs in the 5th inning. Feliciano was replaced in the 5th.
The Falcons scored two more runs in the 6th to seal their victory, 8-3.
Cade Norris had 3 hits and scored 2 runs for Minnechaug.
