Scoring Surge in 2nd Half Propels East Longmeadow Past Agawam 10-8

Yesterday was another historical day for FP SPORTS: 1st lacrosse game 🥍.

East Longmeadow hosted Agawam for EL Senior Night. 10 Seniors on the 🥍 team are graduating this year 🎈.

The game started with an avalanche of goals by Agawam. They got out to a 4-0 lead quickly in the 1st quarter. Agawam Junior Aiden McKay scored two of those four early goals.

The Spartans got some energy from the crowd and began their comeback.

The surge was led by Rex Maccarini, Colin Forbes and Travis Arnold.

EL played hard on defense and attacked on offense.

They were down 4-0, tied the game at 6, tied the game again at 7 before going up 8-7 and never relinquished the lead.

The Spartans won 10-8 in their Seniors last home game 🥍 🔴 ⚪️ 🗡.
